Rhumerie de Chamarel

For many years it was prohibited for Mauritius to produce this special kind of rum, but a few years ago the act was loosened and the distillery was born. From then the high quality potential of the commodity was not wasted anymore.
The special thing about the rum from Chamarel is that it is purely ecological and therefor a high quality rum. The secret of the high quality is in the special earth where the sugar cane grows.
