Chazal Tyrolliennes Zip-Lines
In keeping with the motto „Free like a bird“, you will fly through the skies over the high mountains of Chazal in the south of Mauritius. Ten stages will lead you through nearly two kilometers of Zip-line. Between 23 and 42 meters up in the air, hanging on a cable, you will cross green overgrown canyons.
The good thing about Zip-lines is that everybody can do it. You don’t have to be a sporty person as long as you loves nature, adventure, discovering and hiking you will be absolutely right here.
The drive through the sugar cane fields, the curious animals and the small waterfalls will be just the start of an unforgettable day.
If you are starting the tour at 9:30 a.m. you will be served a welcome cup of coffee or tea. Before you are going to start the Zip-line trip there will be a short briefing on how to handle the safety harness.

After that you will find yourself standing 28 meters high ready to go. To negotiate the first obstacle could be the hardest. But if you force yourself to jump you will know how it feels to fly and you will see the amazing canyons and the Rivière des Galets. Before stage seven you can reward yourself with a refreshing swim in one of the waterfalls. After the short break the highest and longest downhill will be the next one.
Many different species of trees, fruits and animals can be found on the roadside for those who keep their eyes peeled. But at some point every great adventure has to end.
You can enjoy one last bit at the delicious lunch buffet and off you go.
We recommend fitting clothes and the usage of some protection spray against mosquitoes. And don’t forget your swimwear. The guides will provide you with a backpack to carry your belongings.
